Singapore: India defeated China by 2- 1 in Women’s Asian Champions Trophy Hockey final on Saturday.
On Friday, Team India was positioned on the second place with seven points after China which scored nine points in the list.
Out of the four matches, India have won two and lost one.
In the 35th minute of the match China’s Cheng Yahan scored the opening goal while Gou Qui Deepika of India opened their first goal in 51st minute.
While, Poonam Rani of India scored in the 52nd minute and Vandana Kataria showcased their outstanding performance in the 55th minute of the final match.
In the last quarter, Poonam tapped the ball into an empty net to score the first goal and lead India to win the match.
Both the teams played well but Indian players lead their team to won the Asia Cup in the last quarter of the match.
