Treats Common cold
Jaggery is very beneficial in preventing common cold. All you need to do is, Take a cup of water, heat it properly and add jaggery till it gets melt. When it gets boil, then add some ginger to it. Leave it for 5-10 minutes. Do this three to four times a day to get relief from cold.
Prevents Period pain and cramps
Jaggery act as a perfect home remedy to treat period pain and cramp. It keep the menstrual cramps at bay. Take a cup of milk and add some jaggery to it. Later, drink the mixture twice a day during your period to get relief from pain.
Relief from Stomach ailments
The problems of acidity, indigestion, constipation and flatulence gets reduced by consuming jiggery. Take a small piece of jaggery along with your meal to eradicate stomach problems.
Anxiety and palpitation gets reduced
Make a mixture of anise seed powder, dry coriander powder and jaggery powder. Mix it well and gulp down a teaspoon of this mixture. You will see a change!
Prevents Common cough/sore throat
Jaggery act as perfect ingredient as it keeps common cough and sore throat problem at bay! All you need to perform is, take a few basil leaves (tulsi) and mash it in the mixy along with jiggery. Gulp it at least three times a day to get relief.
