Chile’s wounded Alexis Sanchez to miss World Cup Match of Colombia

 SANTIAGO: Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez got injured during a match on Tuesday. His team members have revealed that he will not play in World Cup match that will be played against Colombia.

Chile’s National Football Association said, “Alexis pick a low-grade muscular injury in training.”

On Tuesday, team members of Chile performed last training session but unfortunately Alexis got injured before leaving for Thursday’s playoff match in Barranquilla, Colombia.

“The player will remain in Santiago, undergoing treatment and evaluation ahead of the match against Uruguay in Chile on November 15,” the body said.

Sanchez’s absence in World Cup may affect Thursday’s match that will be played against Colombia.

The players of Arsenal are trying their best to reach to the 2018 World Cup finals in 2018. Also, the midfielder player Gary Medel will not play in Thursday’s match.

This year, Chile team won the Copa America Centenario and the Copa America in 2015.
