Actor Aamir Khan feels that every parents must support their children to fulfill their dreams rather than forcing them to choose a path against their will.
Talking about his upcoming film Dangal which is a story based on father-daughter relationship, Aamir said, “I don’t trust in such things. As a father, I generally bolster my children to do whatever they wish to do. I trust that guardians ought to bolster their children to accomplish their fantasies as opposed to choose it for them. Be that as it may, the film is not in light of my life!”
“In spite of the fact that to start with kids experience a hesitant stage, rather than pressurizing them to seek after their unfulfilled dreams, guardians ought to help them to figure out how to choose a vocation way. I was entirely defiant when I chose to wind up a performing artist,” he added.
‘Dangal’ talks about the gender equality through a sport like wrestling.
“It is a great change of perception and celebration of gender equality. This year two women won Olympic medals for our country and made us proud! Personally, neither I look at girls and boys differently nor I have grown up seeing such difference in our household. Both my sisters were treated with equality while growing up,” said Aamir
Aamir and director Tiwari had worked together in “Taare Zameen Par” and “Bhoothnath Returns”.
“I would be more than happy to see that more filmmakers are doing children’s films. The kinds of films kids are watching are not appropriate for them. Since they do not have many options, they are watching them. I wish people were making more family films like Dangal,” said Aamir.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 23.
