South Korean Company Samsung has Galaxy Gear S3 smartwatch in India at CES event on Tuesday. The watch come up with two variants including rugged designed ‘Frontier’ and stylishly designed ‘Classic’ model.
The rugged Frontier variant has launched for the business purpose on the other hand Classic variant is a luxury watch. The watches carry a price tag of Rs 28,500 and the user can purchase it from all Samsung stores from January 18 th, 2017.
Coming to its specifications, The Samsung Gear S3 watch includes a rotating bezel. It has answer and decline facility to cut or receive the call and it snooze an alarm facility without touching the screen. The Gear S3 features 1.3 inch Circular Super AMOLED screen and includes 360 x 360 pixel resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ display to protect the screen and comes up with Full colour Always On Display (AOD).
The smartwatch has a high end watch grade steel 316L cover. It is powered by 1GHz Dual-Core processor paired with 768MB RAM and includes 4GB internal memory. It runs on Tizen based wearable platform 2.3.2 and contains 380mAh Li-ion battery. It is fully water resistant and provides military-level durability (Military Standard MIL-STD-810G).
Other connectivity options include built-in GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC support, WiFi, Accelerometer, Gyro, Barometer, HRM, and Ambient light. It measures 46 x 49 x 12.9 and weighs 62 grams.
