Google collaborated with ASI for Virtual tour of Monuments

American Multinational Company Google tied up with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on Saturday to provide 360 degree virtual tour of 280-odd monuments across the country.

Some of the famous monuments include Taj Mahal, Victoria Memorial and Hampi. The reports revealed that out of 280 monuments, 30 monuments are in West Bengal.

Google has come up with variety of products for their users in India including offline view of maps, live traffic alerts and unknown places on the Google map.

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is the organization that comes under Ministry of Cultures. It protects the cultural heritage of the world and controls all archaeological activities in the country.
